The International Mystery Box Film Festival

A new film festival created by Suozznation Studios, in partnership with Fire Sale Boxes, to create as level of a playing field as possible for student and indie filmmakers. Those who wish to submit must first purchase a mystery box from Fire Sale Boxes at the link below, then write and shoot a short film based around the contents of the box.

 

There can be nearly anything in these mystery boxes, so don't worry if you struggle to come up with an idea at first. Just remember that whatever you find in your mystery box needs to be a key part of your films' story.

 

The festival will conclude with a parody awards ceremony called The Boxscars, any and all projects submitted have the option to be considered for a varieriety of categories:

*Best Cinematography

*Best Editing

*Best Sound Design

*Best Practical Effects

*Best Visual Effects

*And more!
